About the roleFocus Engineering & Construction (Trading) Pty Ltd is seeking an Experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our team in Corowa, NSW.
This is a full-time position offering a fantastic opportunity to utilise your expertise in a dynamic and growing organisation.
You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality fabrication and welding services to our diverse client base, contributing directly to the success of our projects and the reputation of our company.
What you'll be doing
Performing MIG, TIG and stick welding on various materials including mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
Fabricating structural steel components and assemblies according to engineering specifications and drawings
Operating fabrication machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
Inspecting work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and work orders
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
Collaborating with other team members and supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met
Performing maintenance on welding and fabrication equipment as required
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder, with demonstrated proficiency in multiple welding processes (MIG, TIG, stick)
Current and valid welding certifications relevant to the welding processes you will be performing
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
Sound knowledge of health and safety practices in a fabrication workshop environment
Physical capability to perform the demands of the role,



including standing for extended periods and lifting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliability and a professional work ethic
Experience in a similar trade and services fabrication environment is highly desirable
