Anson Medical Practice are looking for an enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our team!
About Us:
Our Practice is a small family practice located on the corner of Anson and Prince Street.
We have 4 GP's, 1 Practice Nurse and 5 Administrative staff.
We pride ourselves on delivering quality patient centred health care in a welcoming and inclusive setting.
We are open Monday to Friday 9:00am till 5:00pm.

Varied General Practice nursing role
About the role
This position is responsible for delivering high quality general practice nursing care and services to patients.
The Practice Nurse ensures they act in accordance with organisational values and scope of practice per AHPRA registration.
Key responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients and where appropriate, their families within the clinical setting, including health assessments using a holistic framework
Support delivery of Preventative Health Care, including preparation and drafting of chronic condition management plans, patient education and liaising with Multidisciplinary Teams
Collection and interpretation of clinical data to implement quality improvement projects to improve patient health outcomes
Administer injections, in-particular vaccinations in accordance with the National Immunisation Program
Prepare and assist with minor surgery such as skin excisions
Analyse data to develop sustainable models of care in conjunction with the Practice Manager and other members of the Management Team
Support and promote a professional practice model that encourages staff participation in development of clinical standards
About you
Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
Current Working with Children's clearance
Minimum 2 years' professional experience
Demonstrated patient-focused approach
High level of interpersonal and communication skills
Capacity to work effectively within a Multidisciplinary Team as well as autonomously
Demonstrated organisational skills, particularly time management skills
Desirable:
Experience utilising relevant software systems: Best Practice, Cubiko, PracticeHub, Microsoft 365
Recent relevant General Practice experience
Understanding of MBS and other funding streams
Chronic Condition Management experience and/or post graduate qualifications
Women's Health experience and/or post graduate qualifications
Ability to plan and conduct patient and staff education
