We are seeking a Grants Business Partner to coordinate the management of our grant and funding programs.
You will bring your previous grants funding expertise along with excellent stakeholder management and ability to drive standardised processes and continuous improvements in service quality, efficiency and cost.
About Rous
Our new site will bring together all Council operations under one roof, creating a dynamic, collaborative, and future-focused workplace.
Located on a spacious 71-hectare site, the facility has been designed with staff wellbeing, sustainability, and operational excellence in mind.
Rous has an operational footprint covering 3,000km2.
As a county council, we are responsible for providing three specific functions; bulk water supply, weed biosecurity and flood mitigation.

Your value proposition to us:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, project management or equivalent experience
Demonstrated experience in coordinating end-to-end grant delivery
Demonstrated understanding of grant funding requirements, including compliance, reporting, acquittals and funding agreements
Previous grants experience within government or public sector environment preferred
You will be known for your excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Strong organisational skills and ability to implement standardised processes
Committed to upholding and promoting the highest of health, safety and quality standards
Your average workday will be kept busy by:
Identify and evaluate grant opportunities aligned to Council priorities
Prepare, coordinate, and submit grant applications,



ensuring compliance with funding requirements and approval processes
Provide advice and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders on grants processes and eligibility
Analyse and match internal data to potential funding opportunities
Maintain a comprehensive grants documentation system, oversee post-award coordination, tracking of budgets, timelines, and compliance to ensure funding agreement requirements and Council acquittal commitments are met
Build and maintain effective relationships with funding bodies, internal teams, and external partners to support successful outcomes
Improve Council's grant management systems and work with stakeholders to ensure priority projects are managed within timelines
