About the role
Steelstruct Engineering is currently seeking a Trades Assistant to join our busy team located in Henderson for an immediate start.
This is a full-time position, with a competitive salary and plenty of overtime available for the right candidate.
This is a great opportunity for the right person to gain valuable experience and learn new skills in the steel / manufacturing industry.
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
Loading steel with overhead cranes




General trade assistant duties
Manual handling
Dispatching of goods
Painting
Packing
Working safely and ensuring the safety of those around you
Essential Requirements:
Must have the ability to read drawings and check off materials.
Must have FLT licence
Must have current driver's licence
Strong commitment to safety
Be physically fit
Punctual and reliable
Attention to detail
Desirable Requirements:
Machining or heavy tooling experience
Crane experience
Steel knowledge / experience
