About the role
Land & Water Technology is seeking a motivated and customer-focused person to join the Malaga team in a varied role combining sales and customer service with Shopify, e-commerce and marketing.
The position has two main areas of focus: working directly with customers in-store, over the phone and via email, assisting with enquiries, sales and product selection; and helping manage and develop the Shopify store, including product content, pricing, promotions and marketing.
Previous irrigation knowledge would be highly regarded, but comprehensive product and role training will be provided, along with ongoing support from experienced team members.
Key responsibilities
Serve customers in-store and handle phone and email enquiries
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products
Prepare quotes and follow up enquiries
Process sales, orders and payments
Assist with online orders and customer enquiries
Build strong relationships with regular and trade customers
Add new products to Shopify and maintain product descriptions, specifications, images and pricing
Update supplier and product price changes
Manage website collections and product categories
Assist with promotions, featured products and new product launches
About you
Previous sales, customer service or retail experience




Enjoys working with customers and solving problems
Confident communicating in person, over the phone and via email
Good computer skills and comfortable working with online systems
Organised with solid attention to detail
Willing to learn and develop technical product knowledge
Can manage a variety of tasks and take ownership of work
Works well independently and as part of a small team
Current WA Driver's Licence, reliable transport and full Australian working rights required
Previous irrigation experience or Shopify and e-commerce experience would be advantageous
