Jetwave Marine Services, a leading provider of comprehensive maritime solutions.
Due to a recent internal promotion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marine Supervisor to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to be involved in our Fremantle port services operations.

Due to operational requirements, this role will require some weekend and after-hours work.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Day-to-day vessel and quayside operations for the port of Fremantle; including all bookings and general support as required by clients and shipping agents.
Fleet scheduling to maximise utilisation, efficiency and client satisfaction.
Crew rostering and management to ensure services can be offered in accordance with relevant Port Authority licenses and general client requirements.
Ensuring all assets are always operated by the best available personnel.
Allocated assets are maintained in-accordance with planned maintenance systems (HELM) and records updated as required.
Ensuring all assets comply with statutory and mandatory requirements for the area and nature of operations.




Managing relationships with existing clients and actively pursue new relationships and opportunities.
Forecasting requirements and ensure operations are executed cost effectively.
Foster and champion, a strong culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
Applicants must have the following minimum experience and skills to be considered:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in vessel, fleet, or marine operations management; preferably in a busy port setting.
Relevant experience as a near coastal Master/Engineer on vessels up to 24m; preferably in port-based shipping operations.
Relevant experience as a Master operating conventional tugs for Harbour towards, including cold moves, berthing and un-berthing.
Strong knowledge of port services operations, maritime regulations, and industry standards.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team; be strong of character
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Solid organisational and time management skills.
