We require an experienced fire detection system technician for Essential Fire Service Installations and Repairs on a full time basis.
Fire Service Plus is a locally family owned business with a backlog of fire detection installs, upgrades & repairs on the books that require a skilled individual to carry out.
Experience in Fire Detection Systems/Vesda installation/programming/fault finding
Proficient understanding of the Australian Standards (AS ****** & AS *********)
To be willing to work hard and be part of a successful team
To be able to work autonomously
To be able to communicate and liaise with customers and fellow employees in a professional manner
To be able to stay away overnight as required
To be able to travel our large portfolio on a daily basis
To hold a current:
Cabling Licence
NSW Drivers Licence
EWP/Working at Heights Licence
Construction/ White Card
Police Criminal Check
Working With Chldren Check
Electrical Licence (Highly Regarded but not essential)
A fully equipped and maintained company vehicle is provided as well as uniforms & phone for company use.
Must reside in the Illawarra Region, travel will be required within the role.
