About The Role This dynamic and busy role has an immediate start and will utilise your experience in emergency response and rescue offering rewarding career opportunities with a work life balance.
As an integral part of the emergency response team, you will be first response to all incidents and emergencies during shift, returning the site to a safe and harmonious state post incident.
Return flights to Brisbane or Cairns, meals and accommodation are provided.
You will have the ability to:
Respond to a range of emergency situations including but not limited to, fire activations, road crash rescues, vertical rescues, confined space rescues, hazardous material incidents and medical treatment situations
Maintain all emergency vehicles and equipment
Conduct all random drug and alcohol testing
Participate in emergency response skills maintenance training
Requirements:
Australian Driver's License - Open Manual - Heavy Rigid
RII***** Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue




HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid
Security Licensed pursuant to the Security Providers Act **** (QLD)
HLTAID015 Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy
HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Current up to date immunizations - Tetanus, Hep A & B.
You must have Computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite
You will need to be able to pass: (The below requirements are maintained at the employer's expense)
Current Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme Assessment (Coal Board Medical)
National Police Check
Current physical, functional capacity evaluation
