About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated People & Culture & Training Coordinator to join our team in Jandakot.
This is a true generalist role combining human resources and training responsibilities.
You will provide day-to-day HR advice and support to leaders and employees while coordinating and delivering training initiatives across the site.
The role is pivotal in supporting recruitment, employee engagement, compliance, capability development, performance management, and workforce training programs.
Key Responsibilities
Provide HR advice and support to managers and employees on people-related matters
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and induction activities
Support performance management, development planning and employee engagement initiatives
Assist with employee relations matters, including grievances and workplace investigations
Facilitate inductions, training sessions and competency assessments
Maintain training records and employee competency frameworks within the Learning Management System
Work with operational leaders and subject matter experts to develop and maintain training materials and SOPs
Support compliance with employment legislation, policies and workplace standards
Coordinate People & Culture programs, projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Assist with workers compensation administration and return-to-work processes
Support audits and compliance activities as required
About You
Essential Requirements
Degree or tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations,
Business or a related discipline
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE***** or equivalent)
Minimum 3 years' experience in a Human Resources or People & Culture role
Demonstrated experience delivering workplace training and facilitating group learning sessions
Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice
Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills
Robust administrative, organisational and computer skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Full Australian working rights
Desirable
Experience within manufacturing, food production, logistics, warehousing or other operational environments
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Experience developing SOPs, training documentation and competency frameworks
Knowledge of workplace health and safety and workers compensation processes
