The RoleAs an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates and tender submissions for a diverse range of civil infrastructure and resource sector projects across Western Australia.
Reporting to the Pre-Contracts Manager, you will work closely with subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to develop competitive pricing submissions, review project requirements, and identify project risks, opportunities and alternative construction methodologies throughout the tender process.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate civil estimates, quantity take-offs and tender submissions
Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work and tender documentation
Obtain and evaluate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
Identify scope gaps,



project risks and value-engineering opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams on construction methodologies and project planning
Support procurement activities and pricing reviews where required
Maintain estimating records, historical cost data and pricing databases
What We're Looking ForAt least two to three years' experience in civil construction estimating or quantity surveying
Sound understanding of civil construction methods, materials and pricing across civil drainage, earthworks and concrete FRP scopes
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and scopes of work
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to manage competing deadlines and tender requirements
Experience using estimating software and Microsoft Excel
