About the role
Working for SNK Group as a Heavy Vehicle/Plant Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of heavy machinery and vehicles, time split equally across both plant and vehicles .
This full-time role (48 Hours per week) will be based at Eraring with occasional travel to Upper Hunter region.
What you'll be doing
Carry out scheduled maintenance and servicing on a range of heavy plant & Vehicles
Diagnose and repair faults and breakdowns in a timely manner
Perform inspections and tests to identify potential issues before they arise
Maintain detailed records of all work completed
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications
What we're looking for
Formal qualification in Cert III Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
Minimum 2 years on site experience
Extensive experience in servicing and repairing: Heavy Plant/Machinery & Heavy Vehicle Fleets inc Truck & Dogs
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills




Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to high standards of workmanship
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Current driver's licence and ability to operate a range of plant equipment
