About the role
Working from a clean, modern Mackay workshop, you will strip down, assess, rebuild and reassemble major mining components to OEM standard.
This is a permanent, workshop-based role (not FIFO, not field service) with a well-established business that is growing its Queensland operation.
We are looking for two skilled Component Rebuilders to join the team.
What is on offer
Permanent, full time, workshop-based in Mackay.
No FIFO.
4 on, 3 off roster, 12-hour days, rotating Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday every six months.
A three-day weekend, every single week.
Solid hourly rate, with optional overtime at a premium fixed rate if you choose to work a day off.

What you will bring
Hands-on
Caterpillar or Komatsu
component rebuild experience.
This one is essential.
Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Fitter, Plant Mechanic or Mechanical Fitter.
A proven component rebuild background in mining, construction or heavy industry.
Pride in quality workmanship and a safety-first approach.

Desirable
Overhead crane or forklift ticket.
Experience in a structured component rebuild workshop.
