Clinical incident management and follow-up.
Nursing equipment, supplies and resource management.
Working collaboratively with GPs, practice leadership and other managers.
Identifying opportunities to improve nursing efficiency, quality and patient care.
Providing nursing workforce and operational planning for the new site.
Help build our Future

Future nursing workforce and skill-mix requirements.
Recruitment and onboarding.
Nursing workflows and clinical protocols.
Equipment and clinical room requirements.
Training and orientation.
Clinical governance and quality systems.
Integration of the new site into the wider nursing structure.
You will have the opportunity to build on what already works, identify areas for improvement and help establish a consistent nursing culture across an expanding organisation.
What we are looking for
This role will suit an experienced nursing leader who is comfortable leading people, making decisions and being accountable for outcomes.
We are not simply looking for the most clinically experienced candidate.
We are looking for someone who can build a capable nursing team, establish explicit expectations, improve consistency and help us prepare for the next stage of organisational growth.
Primary care experience will be highly regarded, but we will consider exceptional nursing leaders from other healthcare environments who can demonstrate strong management capability and the ability to quickly understand and adapt to the general practice environment.
You will ideally have:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Significant post-registration nursing experience.
Demonstrated experience leading and managing nursing teams.
Experience managing both Registered and Enrolled Nurses.
Previous Nurse Manager, Clinical Nurse Manager,
Nurse Unit Manager or equivalent senior leadership experience.
Strong workforce planning, rostering and recruitment experience.
Demonstrated experience managing performance, capability and professional development.
Strong clinical governance, quality improvement and risk-management capability.
Understanding of accreditation and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
The confidence to make decisions, address difficult issues and hold people accountable.
Experience working across multiple sites or complex healthcare environments.
What we offer
A generous salary commensurate with experience.
Senior nursing leadership role across a growing multi-site organisation.
Genuine opportunity to influence and improve the nursing function.
Significant involvement in the development of our new Drouin medical centre.
Supportive leadership structure .
Opportunity to build and develop a high-performing nursing team.
Long-term career opportunity within a growing regional healthcare organisation.
Relocation assistance may be considered for the right candidate.
Why join us?
We are at an important point in our growth.
Our organisation has established a strong regional healthcare presence, but our next phase will require stronger systems, leadership and workforce capability.
This role provides an opportunity for an experienced nursing leader to make a genuine difference, rather than simply maintain an existing model.
If you are looking for a role where you can lead people, improve systems and help shape the nursing function of a growing healthcare organisation, we would like to hear from you.
How to apply
Please submit your
CV and a brief cover letter
outlining your leadership experience, the nursing teams you have managed, and your experience in clinical governance, workforce management and service improvement.
