An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant in Nursing to join our team on a part-time or full time basis.
About the Role
As an Assistant in Nursing at Joondalup Health Campus, you are responsible for the delivery of high quality patient care to a diverse range of patients.
We are looking for an Assistant in Nursing who thrives in working within a multidisciplinary team and will be committed to upholding and promoting the Ramsay Way core values.
Principal Responsibilities to include (but not limited to):
Assists with patient care
Provides support in resuscitation situations under the supervision and guidance of the Registered Nurse
Assists patients with meals and/or refreshments under the direction of a Registered Nurse
Observes agitated or confused and wandering patients as required
Assists with the presentation and maintenance of a tidy, protected environment; including the making of beds and presentation of patients' bed areas
Performs cleaning and restocking tasks as directed
Promotes and adheres to Occupational Safety and Health guidelines within JHC
Maintains effective communication and functions as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Assists with the safe transport, transfer and positioning of patients within boundaries of training and skill level
Member of the Code Black team as required
About You
Demonstrates commitment to uphold and promote the Ramsay Way core values
Recent relevant experience in an acute health care setting




Successful completion of Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Acute Care)
Good problem solving and analytical, organisational and communication (written and verbal) skills
Proven ability to function in a multi-disciplinary team
Must be able to accommodate adaptable shift patterns including AM, PM and night duty shifts.
