About the Role
As a Quality & Compliance Assistant, you will support the organisation to maintain high standards of quality, compliance and participant-centred practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting internal audits and quality reviews
Assisting with NDIS compliance and Practice Standards
Supporting incident reporting and follow-up processes
Collecting, analysing and maintaining quality data
Assisting with risk identification and risk management
Supporting complaints and feedback processes
Maintaining quality and compliance documentation
Assisting with Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP)
Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery
Supporting governance and quality initiatives
Working collaboratively with support staff, participants, families and stakeholders
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Highly organised and detail-oriented
Passionate about quality and continuous improvement
Curious, proactive and willing to learn
Confident communicating with a range of people
Able to analyse information and identify trends or areas of concern
Comfortable working with policies, procedures and documentation
A strong problem solver with excellent attention to detail
Interested in developing their leadership and professional skills
Committed to person-centred practice and positive participant outcomes
Interested in building a long-term career in quality, compliance and practice
Previous experience in
NDIS, disability, community services, healthcare, administration, quality or compliance
will be highly regarded, but we are also interested in candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn.
Essential Skills & Experience
Certificate or diploma in business administration, health services, or a related field
Previous experience in an administrative or compliance-related role, ideally within the disability sector
Solid organisational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail
Experience in data collection and reporting
Knowledge of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and support a diverse team
