Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage nightly resort operations between 9pm - 7am (Sat, Sun, Mon, Tue) with 3 days off together
Verify revenue from all sources is accurately balanced, follow up on any discrepancies
Post any transactions needed
Perform end-of day procedures
Produce daily reports for departments and department heads - Compile and run statistical reports for all departments and transfer information to our Accounting department
Meet and greet guests as they arrive and complete check in process when required.
Carry out nightly property/security checks.
Analyse rate variance, monitor credit report and maintain close observation of daily house count.
Monitor selling status of house daily.
In conjunction with the Rooms Division Manager, develop, implement and monitor performance standards for operations in the department.
Ensure the cleanliness standards of the resort are adhered to.
We are looking for someone who can quickly establish rapport, stay calm under pressure, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
This is a full time permanent position working 4 days a week, 10 hr shifts, Sat/Sun/Mon/Tue with three days off each week.
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar Night Audit role within a 4-5 star hotel/resort.
Availability to work 4 days a week, 10 hr shifts, Sat/Sun/Mon/Tue
Demonstrated ability to train, lead and motivate a customer focused team
Understanding of budget control and rostering
Well presented with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Fidelio or Opera System is essential
Strong understanding of IT systems and maintenance
Ability to communicate with a diverse range of people
Full availability to work weekends and public holidays
Remain calm and effective in emergency and high pressure situations
Current drivers licence essential
First Aid Certificate desirable
