Eldercare is seeking a detail-driven, tech-savvy Payroll Officer to join our vibrant Head Office team.

The 0.7 FTE may be worked across 3, 4 or 5 days per week, depending on the successful candidate's preferences and operational requirements.
Remuneration:
$80,000-$90,000 FTE (pro rata: $56,000-$63,000 for 0.7 FTE) commensurate with skills and experience + salary sacrifice + super

About the Role
As our Payroll Officer, you'll play a key role in delivering seamless payroll services across the organisation:
Process fortnightly payroll using
Aurion Payroll
and
Humanforce Rostering
Accurately calculate and pay wages, leave, terminations, Workers Compensation, and more
Maintain confidential employee data and ensure compliance with internal procedures
Handle payroll queries with professionalism and empathy
Assist with end-of-year processes, audits, and reporting
Support staff and managers with payroll policies and training
What You Will Bring
Minimum 5 years' experience in end-to-end payroll functions




Proven expertise in payroll systems (Aurion preferred) and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
A collaborative mindset and a commitment to working effectively as part of a team
