Job description
Hello!
Would you like to work on your own terms while making a meaningful difference in the local community?
We are currently experiencing high demand across the Wollongong and Nowra regions and are on the lookout for experienced NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioners who want to deliver high quality, face-to-face positive behaviour support, without the burden of non-billable admin or corporate KPIs.
We handle the behind the scenes work - referrals, service agreements, PACE endorsements, invoicing, and administration, so you can focus on direct client support.
You set your own capacity and choose local clients who align best with your skills and experience.
The Chance
We are seeking practitioners based in the Wollongong and Nowra areas, to support participants across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven regional communities.
We believe the best support happens in person, which is why we are looking for practitioners committed to providing face-to-face services.
This is an opportunity to build a caseload close to home with the backing of a highly supportive administrative team.
Your Role
Empower participants
and their families/supports by addressing behaviours of concern and reducing restrictive practices, with the aim of improving quality of life.
Provide highly engaged, face-to-face behaviour support services
to participants across the Wollongong and Nowra regions and write reports/complete non face-to-face work at a time and space that works for you.
Utilise your existing BSP experience
to collect data, analyse behaviours, and complete observations across environments to promote better quality of life.
Work collaboratively
and build strong therapeutic relationships with local families, schools, support providers, and care teams, across the coast.
Prepare comprehensive, bespoke behaviour support plans
that make a real difference to people's lives.
Who You Are
You hold a current NDIS Practitioner ID (core, proficient, or above).
You value regional community connection and face-to-face practice.
You have 1+ years experience working within the NDIS space.
You are organised, reliable, and dedicated to positive client outcomes.
The Logistics (Contractor Setup)
This is a
subcontract
position.
To work within the role, you must be willing to set up as an independent contractor with:
An ACN (Australian Company Number) - we can help you set this up!
Your own insurances and external supervision (we can also support in recommending some amazing supervisors).
Current NDIS checks (NDIS worker screening/WWCC) valid for NSW and a valid driver licence.
The ability to manage your own tax and super obligations.
