The School
Located only three hours from Sydney and nestled in the heart of the wine and food region of Orange NSW, Orange Anglican Grammar School (OAGS) seeks to ensure every child's unique potential is recognised and nurtured.
OAGS students are encouraged to pursue academic depth, real-world skills and personal excellence, whilst supporting the social, emotional, and spiritual growth of all students.
Established in **** originally under the Bathurst Diocese, OAGS was acquired by the Anglican Schools Corporation in ****.
Since this time the school has grown steadily now with over 800 students from Pre-K to Year 12, and will reach an enrolment of approximately **** students over the next decade.

The Position
The School is seeking a dedicated and professional
School Psychologist in a permanent part or full-time capacity
to play a vital role in promoting student wellbeing.
This position involves providing evidence-based, short-term counselling, psychology and pastoral care to students presenting with various social, emotional, and psychological needs, including anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief, and self-confidence issues.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teaching staff, families, and external agencies to identify and manage student needs, while also delivering proactive wellbeing programs and small group social skills interventions.
Beyond direct clinical support, the Psychologist will provide skilled leadership by coaching staff on adolescent development, interpreting reports, and contributing to the School's critical incident management team.
The ideal applicants will hold relevant qualifications in psychology and have a current membership with a professional body.
You must possess a valid Working with Children Check along with current certifications in First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma management.
The school looks for individuals who demonstrate qualified integrity, can maintain confidentiality,
and are prepared to engage fully in the life of the School, including attending camps, excursions, and evening events.
Responsibility for child protection and mandatory reporting is paramount, and the appointee will ensure all clinical records and case files are maintained to the highest ethical and professional standards.
