As the Anthropology Manager, you will manage and coordinate the delivery of anthropology and related research work in Alice Springs, including supervising staff and consultants and managing anthropology contracts in accordance with the
Northern Territory Aboriginal Sacred Sites Act
.
You will oversee complex and sensitive research activities, including Authority Certificates, sacred site registrations, compliance matters and special projects.
You will liaise with a wide range of stakeholders including Aboriginal custodians, Aboriginal Land Councils, government agencies, landowners, proponents and other key partners, coordinating conferences,
fieldwork and contractual research arrangements across Central Australia.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced anthropologist to work within a small and dedicated team, contributing directly to the protection of Aboriginal cultural heritage in Central Australia while supporting timely, high quality research outcomes for the Authority.
