Aussie Bush Cabins is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated
Apprentice Carpenter
to join our growing team on a
full-time basis
in Albany, WA ****.
This is an excellent chance to launch your career in the building trades whilst gaining hands-on experience from experienced professionals.
As an apprentice, you will work alongside skilled carpenters to develop your craft, learning the fundamental and advanced techniques required to become a qualified tradesperson.
This role is essential to our operations, allowing you to contribute to quality construction and building projects whilst building your expertise and industry knowledge.

Key responsibilities
Assisting experienced carpenters with the construction, assembly and installation of wooden structures and fittings
Measuring, cutting and shaping timber and other materials to required specifications
Preparing and maintaining work areas, tools and equipment in a safe and organised manner
Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively, including saws, drills, sanders and other equipment
Assisting with site setup,



cleanup and waste management on construction projects
Adhering to health and safety regulations and best practices on all work sites
Attending formal apprenticeship training and assessments as required

What we're looking for
A genuine interest in carpentry and the building trades, with motivation to develop a long-term career in the industry
School Certificate or equivalent qualification (Year 10 or higher)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
Reliable, punctual and skilled approach to work and attendance
A valid driver's licence is preferred
Willingness to undertake formal apprenticeship training and complete required assessments
