About the role:
Trinity Motors Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced
Service Advisor
to join our automotive service department in Cairns, QLD.
This is a full-time position.
As a Service Advisor, you will be the critical link between our customers and our service technicians, ensuring every client receives exceptional service and support.
Your role is essential to maintaining customer satisfaction, building long-term relationships, and driving the success of our service department.
You will be responsible for managing customer interactions, coordinating service schedules, and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities:
Greeting customers in a professional and friendly manner, understanding their service needs and vehicle concerns
Providing accurate estimates and quotations for vehicle repairs and maintenance work
Scheduling service appointments and managing the workshop calendar efficiently
Communicating with customers throughout the service process, keeping them informed of progress and any additional work requirements
Preparing work orders with detailed descriptions of customer requests and vehicle issues
Coordinating between customers, technicians and management to ensure timely job completion
Processing invoices, payments and warranty claims accurately
Building and maintaining positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
Identifying upselling opportunities for additional services or products
Maintaining accurate service records and customer database information
Resolving customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly
Assisting with administrative tasks related to the service department
What we're looking for:
Previous experience working as a Service Advisor in an automotive service setting
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repairs and automotive terminology




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers
Outstanding customer service abilities with a commitment to achieving high levels of customer satisfaction
Proficiency with computer systems and automotive service management software
Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer requests simultaneously in a busy environment
Strong organisational and time management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in processing paperwork and financial transactions
Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
A professional appearance and positive attitude
Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
Preferably, relevant automotive qualifications or certifications such as Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or customer service qualifications

The Package:
Base Salary: $75,000 per year
Weekly and Monthly KPI incentives: variable bonuses tied to performance.
Drive Vehicle with FBT.
OTE $****,000 per year plus super.
Sign-on, Relocation & Retention Bonus: $10,000 paid over 12 months/
