About the role:
We currently have an opening for a Project Manager and will take responsibility for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve.
Schedule, plan, forecast, resource and
manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.
The position will be based in Wangara WA.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer you will be responsible for:
Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on
project status
Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and
technical support
Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
About the candidate:




Previous experience managing a small to medium production team
Track record of successful project completion from pre- award to handover
Proven experience as a Project Engineer in metal products manufacturing industry
Excellent knowledge of design and visualisations software such as AutoCAD
Proficient in applicable software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Interpretation of Client drawings and specification to promote competitive estimates are produced
Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
Time management and organisation skills
Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
Outstanding leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and leaderships skills
Attention to detail
Advanced skills in MS Office
