Psychologist
to join our growing multidisciplinary team in
Canberra, ACT
.
About the Role
As a Psychologist at ESA, you will play a key role in supporting children, adolescents, and their families through high-quality assessment and intervention services.
Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, you will have the opportunity to build strong clinical skills while making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments for:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Intellectual Developmental Disorders
Other developmental, behavioural, and emotional concerns
Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs
Develop, implement, and review client-centred goals alongside families and key stakeholders
Prepare high-quality clinical reports and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with allied health professionals, educators, support coordinators, and community partners
Support children and young people aged 2 to 18 years to enhance participation, independence, and wellbeing
Contribute to a positive, innovative, and team-oriented team culture

About You
You are a compassionate, client-focused psychologist who is passionate about supporting children, young people, and families to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Essential Requirements
Tertiary qualification in Psychology
Current General Registration with AHPRA
Experience conducting assessments and delivering therapeutic interventions
Strong communication, report writing, and stakeholder engagement skills
Current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration (or willingness to obtain)
NDIS Worker Screening Check
National Police Check
Current Driver's Licence and access to a fully insured vehicle
Desirable
Experience working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions
ADOS-2 and/or MIGDAS training and experience
Experience within multidisciplinary, disability, or community-based settings
Knowledge of the NDIS environment
