Warehouse Operator / Trainee Machine Operator – Stainless Steel
Full-time — Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm — Pay based on experience
Most warehouse jobs are pick and pack.
This one isn't.
You'll handle industrial and Reinforcing stainless steel — operating forklifts, overhead cranes, CNC bandsaws and Rebar processing machinery.
We'll train you to do it properly, and there's a clear path to grow from there.
About the role
This is a hands-on warehouse position in our stainless steel distribution operation.
You'll be involved in the day-to-day handling, preparation and despatch of steel bar — working with real industrial equipment in a specialised environment.
The work requires care, accuracy and a genuine focus on safety.
Your duties will include:
Receiving, checking and inspecting incoming stainless steel materials
Picking and preparing customer orders to spec
Packing, labelling and preparing materials for despatch
Loading and unloading trucks
Operating forklifts, overhead cranes and warehouse equipment
Assisting with stock control and inventory checks
Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
Learning to operate saws and other specialised equipment as your skills develop
How you'll progress

Full training is provided at every stage.
You don't need to arrive knowing everything — you need to arrive willing to learn.

A forklift licence is a bonus, but not required.
Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, steel, timber, machinery or trades is an advantage — but we're genuinely open to training the right person from scratch.
