is a privately owned industry leader specialising in the manufacture, overhaul, and repair of hydraulic cylinders for heavy mining mobile equipment.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter to join our Day Shift team at our modern, well-equipped Perth workshop.

About You
You are a motivated tradesperson who enjoys fault finding, preventative maintenance, and keeping production equipment operating efficiently.
You will have:
Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate (Maintenance Fitter, Fitter & Turner or equivalent)
Minimum 3 years' experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing or heavy engineering environment
Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience maintaining CNC machinery, overhead cranes, hydraulic equipment, compressors, pumps, and general workshop plant (desirable)
Experience working within quality management systems (ISO **** experience desirable)
Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to protected work practices
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently
Leadership potential and a desire to grow into a management role
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on workshop machinery and equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise production downtime
Service and maintain CNC machines, lathes, mills, hydraulic equipment, compressors, overhead cranes, and general workshop plant
Coordinate planned maintenance schedules to maximise equipment reliability
Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment issues
Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures
Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and equipment reliability
