About the Role
Provide professional parts interpretation and customer service via phone, email and trade counter enquiries.
Identify and supply the correct parts efficiently and accurately.
Drive parts sales through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Build and maintain robust relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
Manage customer backorders and provide proactive updates.
Assist with inventory control, stock replenishment and stock takes.
Support merchandising and promotion of aftermarket and genuine parts product lines.
Work collaboratively with workshop and sales teams to ensure customer needs are met.
About You
Previous experience in Parts Interpreting, Parts Sales or a similar automotive, trucking, diesel or industrial environment.
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
Knowledge of diesel engines, internal combustion engines, heavy vehicle, automotive or related equipment industries.
Ability to read and interpret parts catalogues and technical information.
Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
A positive, team-focused attitude and strong attention to detail.
Forklift licence (desirable but not essential).
