About the Opportunity
The Configuration Management (CM) Officer for Austal Defence Australia (ADA) is responsible for assisting in the coordination and delivery of Project CM activities in accordance with the CM Plan.
The Configuration Management Officer will assist the Configuration Manager/Lead with the conduct of project activities to meet both project and Austal CM goals.

What's Involved
Assist in the coordination & delivery of the project CM activities.
Assist in the completion and close out of CM activities in accordance with the plans and schedules.
Ensure the correct capture of configuration information/changes within Teamcenter Unified
Assist in the coordination & conduct of Physical Configuration Audit and reporting activities.




Regularly report CM status
Act on behalf of the CM lead in their absence
Assist in the coordination, maintenance, and assessment of CM impacts for the project Engineering Change Process and facilitate the process.
You'll Need
Hold a Construction safety induction (white card).
Configuration Management Qualifications/training.
Experience in or significant exposure to Configuration Planning, Identification, Control, Auditing and Reporting.
Well-developed oral and written communication skills
Basic Excel skills
Ability to understand technical documents, particularly in a Marine environment.
Experience on Defence contracts is desired but not required.
