About the Role:
Based in our Perth office and reporting to the Executive General Manager – Exploration, the Exploration Administrator is the linchpin that supports our dynamic exploration office running smoothly.
You'll mostly juggle safety administration while also helping out with general administration both clerical and financial.
Key role requirement
Provide safety administration support to the exploration team — safety reporting, document control, safety e-system upkeep, document creation and coordination of compliance training and records
Support the exploration team recruitment and coordinate onboarding for recent employees involving medicals, police clearances, IT set-up, payroll onboarding, uniform ordering, travel arrangements and inductions
Act as the primary point of contact for the Perth office lease,
including building owner correspondence, fire warden duties, maintenance requests, building access and basic office supplies and administrative requirements
Implement and maintain the exploration team's SharePoint document control system
Manage purchase order processing, receipting and supplier setup for corporate departments
Assist with administrative form management (leave forms and similar)
The position is offered on a full-time ongoing basis (with flexible hours) working from our Subiaco CBD office located on Hay Street.
Some travel to our operations and projects in Queensland may be required once or twice a year.
About You:
Energetic, delivery-focused and comfortable working autonomously
Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem-solve on the run
Safety administration experience, ideally gained in the hard rock mining industry
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
Familiarity with electronic safety management systems (e.g. Lucidity or INX) is an advantage
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. Pronto or SAP) is also an advantage
A tertiary qualification is preferred but not essential
