About the role
We are a leading ICT Consultancy based in Perth.
Due to upcoming project work for one of our government clients, we are looking to bring on two Mid‐Level C# .
NET Developers with exposure to the Azure Cloud platform and any Azure integration experience.
This Agile‐focused development role supports a large enterprise‐level software applications project, involving the build and deployment of backend services, APIs, and data integration components within the Azure Cloud platform.
This is an ongoing contract position, offered as an initial 6‐month term with a further 6‐month extension, with flexible hours and a hybrid work model (WFH two days per week).
Key responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain C# .
NET applications with a strong focus on Azure cloud integration and services
Architect and implement scalable solutions utilising Azure services including App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and Data Factory
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are maintained
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing applications to improve performance and reliability
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for applications and systems
Participate in solution design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
Work with Azure DevOps to manage deployment pipelines, build configurations, and release management processes
Implement and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and system reliability
What we're looking for
3-5 years' qualified experience developing applications using C# and the .
NET framework
Demonstrated expertise in Azure cloud services and integration patterns
Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and microservices architecture
Proficiency with SQL databases and experience with Entity Framework or similar ORM technologies
Experience with Azure DevOps, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices
Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and SOLID principles
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred: Experience with Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Data Factory
Preferred: Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards
Preferred: Experience working in agile development environments
What we offer
$90–$110 per hour (incl. super)
depending on experience and level
6–12 month contract
