Position Profile and
Role
Fiona Stanley Fremantle
Hospitals Group is currently seeking a Service Director to lead and
manage Service 2 - Perioperative and Support Services.
Service 2 is
a dynamic portfolio that brings together specialist clinical
support, diagnostic, intensive care and procedural services that
are fundamental to delivering exceptional healthcare and improving
outcomes for patients every day.
As a member of the leadership
triumvirate the directorate is jointly responsible and accountable
for achieving the strategic and operational objectives defined by
the FSFHG.
The Service Directors work in partnership to provide
effective leadership, governance, strategic planning, and
operational management of the clinical stream.
Support all
staff within the Service to provide high-quality and efficient
patient care consistent with the Hospital's safety, quality, and
performance frameworks.
As part of the Executive team provide
clinical and corporate governance within the Hospital.

Fiona Stanley Hospital
(FSH)
is an 863-bed tertiary and quaternary hospital
providing a broad range of specialised healthcare services.
These
include the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer
centre, dedicated mental health facilities, maternity, paediatric
and neonatal care, as well as the State Adult Burns Service.
FSH




also delivers highly specialised treatments such as heart and lung
transplantation and hyperbaric medicine.
Adjacent to the hospital, the FSH
Medihotel operates within the Aegis Health Building and provides an
innovative extension of FSH healthcare services, operating 24 hours
a day, seven days a week.
Fremantle
Hospital
is a 300-bed specialist hospital delivering
high-quality aged care, mental health, rehabilitation, planned
surgery and medical services.
Supporting the tertiary and
quaternary services of Fiona Stanley Hospital, Fremantle Hospital
provides a broad range of specialist care across areas including
orthopaedics, general and plastic surgery, ENT, specialised hand
surgery, ophthalmology, urology, vascular, endoscopy, dental and
maxillofacial, and women's health services.
