Accountant | Mandarin Speaking | Ongoing Temp | CBD | Immediate Start

A Chinese parent company with operations based in the CBD is seeking a Mandarin-speaking Accountant to join on an ongoing casual contract. This role requires someone confident working within Australian accounting standards while liaising closely with head office in China.

Immediate availability is strongly preferred, and applicants must be Perth-based with full working rights.

About the role

Reporting into local finance leadership, this is a hands-on position covering end-to-end accounting responsibilities. You will support financial operations, maintain accurate records, and play a key role in communication between the Australian entity and the overseas parent company.

This role suits someone comfortable working across the full accounting function, with strong bilingual communication skills.

Key responsibilities

- End-to-end accounts payable processing
- General ledger maintenance
- Month-end close, including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Monthly management reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- BAS preparation and lodgement
- Fringe Benefits Tax support
- Fixed asset register maintenance and depreciation
- Cash flow support
- Stakeholder and auditor liaison
- Regular communication with head office in China

About you

- Fluent Mandarin (spoken and written) is essential
- Degree or formal study in Mandarin language, or equivalent demonstrated ability
- Experience across general accounting functions
- Robust understanding of Australian accounting standards





- CA/CPA not essential
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Confident communicator across different cultures and time zones
- Available to start immediately
