An exciting opportunity exists for Exploration Geologists to join a significant drilling campaign at an early stage and help shape its future from the ground up.
Whether you're a seasoned geologist keen to share your knowledge and experience, or an emerging geologist looking to accelerate your development, this is an chance to be part of a project where your contribution will genuinely matter. With strong exploration momentum and an extensive drilling programme underway, successful candidates can expect the potential for 12 to 24 months of ongoing work on a FIFO roster from Adelaide.
This is a role for geologists who enjoy being close to the action. You'll work alongside drill crews, field technicians and fellow geologists in the pursuit of copper, contributing directly to a programme where discovery, interpretation and resource growth remain at the heart of every decision. In a lean exploration team, your observations, ideas and technical input will help shape the story as it unfolds.

About the Role
Working within a collaborative exploration team, you will play a key role in supporting drilling, geological data collection and resource development activities. This is a hands-on operational role suited to geologists who enjoy spending time around drill rigs, working closely with drilling contractors and seeing the direct impact of their work in the field.
Key responsibilities include:
- RC chip and diamond core logging
- Sample selection, preparation and submissions
- Geological data entry and validation
- QA/QC of assay results
- Drillhole validation and interpretation support
- Utilisation of Geobank and Leapfrog software
- Providing drilling support and instructions
- Working closely with drilling and laboratory contractors
- Supporting geological modelling and resource development activities
- Contributing to the ongoing understanding and growth of a copper resource
About You
To be successful, you will ideally possess:
- Degree qualifications in Geology or Earth Sciences
- Minimum two years' geology experience
- Experience supporting RC and/or diamond drilling programmes
- Strong logging and sampling skills
- A practical, field-focused approach to exploration
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data quality
- The ability to work effectively within a remote team environment
- A genuine willingness to work alongside drilling contractors and field crews
- A positive commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous learning
- Experience with Geobank and Leapfrog will be highly regarded but is not essential.
