Senior Financial Accountant

We're looking for a high-calibre Senior Financial Accountant to join a fast-paced Finance team within an ASX-listed resources business with an international footprint.

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in driving the Group's financial reporting and processes on track.
You'll be responsible for:

- Owning month-end financial reporting and close activities.
- Preparing and reviewing P&L; and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Supporting statutory audits, financial statements and working closely with external auditors.
- Providing technical accounting advice and support.
- Analysis of financial data and commentary.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements and efficiencies.
- Supporting international finance projects and ad hoc analysis.

What You Bring
You're an accountant who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and making things better.
You'll ideally have:





- Strong financial accounting (IFRS) and month-end experience.
- Experience with statutory reporting and audits.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the confidence to challenge the status quo.
