Our client is seeking a driven and high-performing Financial Accountant to join one of Australia's most iconic brands. Starting ASAP for a six month temp assignment, this role will have direct exposure to the Senior Leadership Team, this role plays a key part in delivering commercial insights and driving performance across the business.
As the Financial Accountant, trusted finance partner to key stakeholders and contribute across a range of strategic and operational priorities, including:
- Acting as a key business partner across the organisation
- Delivering value-add analysis to support decision making
- Managing end-to-end month-end processes, including journal preparation and inventory reconciliations
- Preparing monthly management reports
- Supporting the annual budget process and contributing to the five-year strategic plan
- Identifying and implementing ongoing process improvements
- Conducting ad hoc analysis across product, facility, and supply chain functions
- Producing and distributing weekly and monthly business partnering reports
- Reconcile inventory across multiple retail locations, ensuring accuracy between physical stock and system records
- Analyse stock turnover and product performance to support merchandising and supply chain decisions
The successful candidate will be CPA or CA qualified, with 5+ years experience in a corporate setting. You will bring a collaborative, team-first mindset, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders outside of finance.
