About You

You are an experienced transactional real estate lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' experience, bringing a strong track record from private practice or in-house roles within large organisations.

Your Experience & Expertise:

- Demonstrated experience advising on a broad range of property law matters within a government, statutory authority, private practice or in-house environment
- Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating leases, licences, easements and other property-related agreements
- Proven ability to advise on complex property transactions and land use matters relating to public infrastructure, education assets and government-owned land
- Experience supporting property development projects, including site feasibility assessments, title reviews and land acquisition matters
- Strong understanding of land title issues and the ability to identify legal risks associated with property ownership, development and occupation
- Experience providing legal advice on leasing and licensing arrangements involving public assets and third-party occupiers
- Familiarity with compulsory acquisition processes, native title matters and Aboriginal cultural heritage considerations
- Ability to provide strategic and practical legal advice on property disputes, land access issues and related regulatory matters
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience supporting government agencies, project teams, school leadership and operational stakeholders
- Ability to supervise, mentor and provide technical guidance to junior lawyers and team members
- Experience managing multiple matters simultaneously while balancing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations
