Coober Pedy Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a six-week contract from September through October 2026. Based in Coober Pedy, South Australia, this full-time position offers the prospect to deliver emergency care in a rural and remote setting. Working on a rotating Saturday-Friday roster at 76 hours per fortnight, the successful candidate will earn between AUD71.54 and AUD92.71 per hour, bringing their clinical expertise to a dynamic acute and triage environment.

Preferred Requirements





- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience working in emergency or acute care settings
- Ability to work effectively on a rotating roster, including weekends
- Strong clinical assessment and triage skills in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexibly across different areas of the facility based on operational needs

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience in rural or remote healthcare settings is advantageous
