ICT Business Consultant/Project Manager

A government authority is seeking an experienced Business Consultant/Project Manager to support the development and refinement of business cases for a program of approved ICT projects including digital signage, network upgrades, and more.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with stakeholders to turn early-stage proposals into clear, well-validated plans ready for investment decisions.

This is a part-time role (3 days per week) for an initial 3 months ideal for an experienced contractor or consultant looking for a versatile, high-impact assignment.

About You
We're looking for someone with;

- Proven experience developing or refining ICT business cases
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
- Experience validating project scope, costs, benefits, and resourcing
- Ability to build high-level project schedules and delivery plans




- Strong risk assessment and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working across multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities

What You'll Deliver

- Facilitate workshops with project sponsors and stakeholders to validate objectives, assumptions, and scope
- Review and refine business cases using standard templates and forms
- Validate project scope, costs, benefits, and resource requirements
- Develop high-level project schedules, including milestones and dependencies
- Prepare project readiness and risk assessments, with recommended next steps
