We are prepared to provide training to the right person who has a positive attitude, good communication skills and a willingness to learn. About the role The position will involve: Assisting customers in our Belconnen showroom Helping customers select suitable carpet, vinyl and other flooring products Attending homes and job sites throughout the Canberra region Measuring flooring areas and preparing quotations Following up enquiries and quotations Liaising with customers, suppliers and our installation team Maintaining customer records and completing general sales administration Working some Saturdays as part of a rotating roster About you The successful applicant will: Be friendly,



confident and comfortable dealing with customers Have neat and tidy personal presentation Have good communication and organisational skills Possess basic computer skills Be reliable, punctual and willing to learn Hold a current driver’s licence Have a reliable vehicle Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team Previous flooring, estimating, retail or sales experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.
