About the Role

Reporting to the Program Director, the Survey Manager will oversee survey operations and related assurance activities for a large-scale, internationally coordinated survey program. Working collaboratively with a delivery vendor and international research partners, the role provides strategic and operational oversight of survey delivery, data quality assurance, stakeholder engagement, vendor management and reporting to support high-quality survey outcomes and reliable public data products.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, delivery and reporting of survey results, ensuring data products are quality assured and insights are suitable for public release
- Manage survey activities in collaboration with the vendor and international research partners to ensure quality standards, milestones and reporting requirements are met
- Provide technical advice and direction on the development, testing and implementation of survey instruments, questionnaires, scripts and respondent contact strategies
- Oversee quality control processes throughout data collection to identify risks,



detect errors and resolve complex data issues
- Monitor fieldwork performance and work with the vendor and research partners to manage response rates and support representative survey outcomes
- Support data management activities in accordance with relevant regulations, policies and good data management practice

Skills & Experience

- Robust survey and data expertise, including experience in survey design and management, data governance and analysis
- Demonstrated project management experience delivering timely, quality outcomes in dynamic and complex environments
- Strong critical thinking and sound judgement, with the ability to assess risks, weigh options and resolve issues effectively
- Proven ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose statistical outputs and reports
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills

Existing Baseline security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
