Our Opportunity

We are seeking expressions of interest from an Associate Civil to join our growing Brisbane team.

In this leadership role, you will oversee the successful delivery of major projects while contributing to the growth of our Queensland business. You will lead and develop a high-performing team, strengthen client relationships, and support business development initiatives to help drive TTW's continued success.

Job Description

In this role, you will

Manage medium to large-scale projects, including fee proposals, tender submissions, project planning, resource allocation, budgets, schedules, and technical delivery.

Provide leadership, mentoring, and professional development to engineers and technical staff.

Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while exceeding client expectations.

Apply advanced engineering expertise to deliver practical, innovative, and commercially effective solutions.

Manage the technical, contractual, and commercial aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, Australian Standards, and TTW policies.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, and other key stakeholders.





Identify business development opportunities and contribute to winning new work and growing existing client relationships.

Support workforce planning, resource management, and the implementation of TTW's strategic objectives.

Who are we looking for?

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or an equivalent qualification recognised by Engineers Australia.

Ideally a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) designation or equivalent international accreditation

10+ years of engineering design experience within a consulting environment.

Strong knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC/BCA) and relevant Australian Standards is highly regarded

Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex engineering projects.

Proven project management skills, including commercial, financial, and resource management.

Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timeframes and budgets.

A collaborative mindset with a passion for developing people and building long-term client relationships.
