Northern Beaches Hospital are looking for a CNE for our Ward 6C to cover a maternity leave contract until July 2027.

Employment Type: Temporary Part Time until 17 July 2027 (with possibility of ongoing employment)

Remuneration: $62.68 - $64.71 per hour

Where you'll be working

Northern Beaches Hospital - Ward 6C

What you'll be doing
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Educator in our Medical Oncology/ Palliative Care Ward. This is a 4 day week role on a contract until July 2027.





Ward 6C is a 30 bed medical ward predominately caring for oncology patient's and patients requiring end of life care. The 6C staff are a supportive and caring team, who are focused on patient centred care but also work as a team and foster a strong team culture.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

- Holds AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse AND holds relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to practice safe nursing care and knowledge of policies and clinical practice guidelines.

Demonstrated commitment to evidence based practice, continuous quality improvement and risk management.
