The Nepean Mental Health Centre provides inpatient care for people experiencing acute mental health issues through the short-stay Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre (PECC), the Acute Mental Health Unit, Mental Health High Dependency Unit, and Older Persons Mental Health Unit. We support our Patients by linking them to case managers for ongoing treatment and support within an environment appropriate to the person's needs.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our team and contribute to the delivery of safe, person-centred, trauma-informed care. Working collaboratively with consumers, families, carers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, you will play a vital role in supporting positive health outcomes and enhancing the care experience for those accessing our services.





The successful applicant will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to engage effectively with consumers, carers, and members of the multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate, clear, and contemporaneous clinical documentation in accordance with legislative and organisational requirements, ensuring continuity and safety in patient care.

What you will bring to the role * Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA.

- Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in Nursing as an Enrolled Nurse including completion of a New Graduate Enrolled Nurse program or equivalent experience working as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide effective Nursing care that is person centered, trauma-informed, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
- Demonstrated effective communication, including non-verbal, written and verbal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to own career development through workplace learning and reflective practice and the ability to contribute to the development of others, including new graduate nurses and students.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit or team requirements.
