About the Role
This strategic role supports the development of enterprise strategy, priorities, and organisational initiatives. Working closely with senior leaders, you will analyse complex issues, generate evidence-based insights, and develop recommendations that influence decision-making across the organisation. You will play a key role in shaping strategic direction, driving priority initiatives, and delivering outcomes with long-term impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse complex business challenges and develop strategic solutions
- Deliver quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform decisions
- Engage with stakeholders to refine and strengthen recommendations
- Support senior executives in problem structuring and planning
- Prepare high-quality briefings, papers,
and presentations
- Lead and coordinate strategic projects and work programs
Skills & Experience
- Experience in strategy development, consulting, or related fields
- Solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities
- Proven ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders
- Excellent executive communication and brief writing skills
- Experience delivering strategic initiatives in complex environments
Desirable Skills
- Experience developing policy, strategic papers, and recommendations within government or regulated environments
- Understanding of government governance frameworks, public sector operations, or policy development processes
- Ability to translate strategic outcomes into practical implementation roadmaps and delivery plans
- Experience supporting organisational transformation and business improvement initiatives
- Proven capability engaging with governance forums, external partners, and executive committees
- Experience preparing materials for Board, Executive, or Ministerial consideration and review
Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Previous government experience is preferred for this role.
