An established specialist recruitment firm in Melbourne CBD is looking to hire a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join their Legal division.

The business focuses on professional services recruitment across accounting and legal markets nationally and has built a strong reputation for delivery, relationships, and long-term client partnerships.

With a supportive leadership team and a mature working environment, this opportunity suits an experienced recruiter who enjoys candidate relationships, headhunting and quality recruitment rather than aggressive KPI-driven cultures.

The Opportunity

You will focus on permanent legal recruitment across Melbourne or national markets, depending on your network and experience.

The role is heavily candidate-led, with approximately 80% of your time focused on:

Headhunting and sourcing legal professionals

Building long-term candidate relationships and referral networks

Managing recruitment processes end-to-end

Floating candidates into client opportunities

Developing business through candidate-led introductions

The legal market is highly candidate-short, meaning strong recruiters consistently generate multiple opportunities per candidate.
