A highly regarded Australian construction group with an established reputation for delivering complex, high-value building projects is seeking an experienced Structures Foreman to join the delivery team on a major new premium commercial development in inner Brisbane. Located in Fortitude Valley, the A$100M+ project comprises a nine-storey premium commercial office development of approximately 11,856m², incorporating a five-level podium, four upper commercial levels, ground-floor retail and public realm, landscaped terraces and two basement levels.

This is a key site leadership appointment requiring a proven Structures Foreman capable of taking ownership of the basement, concrete frame and structural works through to topping out, while successfully managing the logistics and programme demands of a constrained inner-city site.

The Role

Reporting to the Site Manager / Senior Site Manager, you will:

- Lead day-to-day delivery of all structural construction works
- Manage formwork, reinforcement, concrete, post-tensioning, structural steel and precast packages
- Plan and sequence basement, podium and upper-level structural works
- Drive structural cycle times, productivity and programme milestones
- Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant, materials and crane operations
- Manage deliveries, material movements and structural logistics within a constrained inner-city environment
- Review drawings, specifications and methodologies for constructability and sequencing
- Identify and resolve structural constraints and trade interface issues
- Manage ITPs, inspections, hold points, concrete pours and structural QA




- Maintain rigorous WHS standards across structural activities
- Coordinate interfaces with façade, services, architectural and subsequent fit-out packages
- Monitor subcontractor performance, workmanship and productivity
- Liaise with structural engineers, consultants and project management to resolve technical issues
- Take ownership of the structure through to topping out and handover to following trades

What We're Looking For

- Extensive experience as a Structures Foreman / Structures Supervisor
- Proven experience delivering major commercial or multi-storey building structures
- Strong experience across basement construction, suspended slabs and concrete frames
- Technical knowledge of formwork systems, reinforcement, concrete and post-tensioning
- Proven ability to drive demanding structural programmes and subcontractor performance
- Experience on CBD or constrained inner-city sites highly regarded
- Strong understanding of structural drawings, tolerances, QA and inspection requirements
- Excellent site leadership, planning and problem-solving capability
- Relevant trade background, construction qualifications, licences and tickets highly regarded

We are particularly interested in candidates who have successfully taken basement and multi-level structures through to topping out and understand the additional planning and logistics required to deliver major construction within an inner-city environment.
