What you'll be doing

The Clinical Trial Officer works within a research team at the Sydney Children's Hospital Network. This role involves assisting the research team in the conduct of day to day clinical trial operational and research activities.
The primary purpose of this role is to contribute actively to the provision of high-quality research activities at the Sydney Children's Hospital Network (SCHN).

or equivalent work experience in clinical trial management in a clinical research environment, or a combination of study and work experience

- Demonstrated knowledge of legislation and guidelines for conducting clinical trials in Australia and experience in obtaining and maintaining ethics and governance approvals.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Solid computer skills and willingness to utilise existing and new systems for clinical trials project management and data.
- Project, time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise, have attention to detail, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a highly paced environment including the ability to troubleshoot, and take a consultative approach to ensure delivery of complex tasks to meet pre-defined time, budget and quality targets.
- Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in liaising with a variety of stakeholders/audiences.
- Demonstrate a culture of quality and patient safety in clinical research.
