An exciting prospect as a Return to Work Coordinator within the SA Metropolitan Fire Service and will be out posted to the SA Fire & Emergency Services Commission reporting to the Manager of Injury Management.
The Return to Work Coordinator is responsible for the effective delivery of Return to Work services, systems and processes for operational and non-operational staff of the South Australian Metropolitan Fire Services (MFS).
The role is the central workplace contact for coordinating Injury Management and Return to Work processes to achieve a safe, timely and sustainable return to work.
The role is also responsible for determining the return to work needs for injured workers, developing return to work strategies and developing, monitoring and reviewing recovery/return to work plans including the management of high-risk and/or complex matters.
Two roles available, one permanent ongoing and one 6 month contract.
