DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Administrator/Customer Service to join a respected Queensland Government organisation based in Rockhampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused and organised professional to contribute to the delivery of essential services within a fast-paced team environment.
About the Role
As a Customer Service Officer, you will play a key role in supporting customers, stakeholders and internal teams by delivering high-quality administrative and customer service support. You will be responsible for managing enquiries, maintaining accurate records and contributing to the efficient delivery of operational services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional and high-quality customer service to internal and external customers.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, emails and telephone enquiries.
- Ensure customer requests and enquiries are responded to within required timeframes.
- Work effectively within a KPI-driven environment and contribute to performance outcomes.
- Liaise with industry representatives, suppliers and stakeholders to support service delivery.
- Prepare, update and maintain documentation, reports, registers and information systems.
- Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and internal systems, including Ellipse.
- Support senior staff by managing enquiries and administrative matters in their absence.
- Assist in reviewing and improving existing procedures and processes.
- Undertake a range of general administrative duties as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in high volume customer service/Administration support roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
- The ability to work effectively in a busy, rapid-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- The ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite.
