Maintenance Electrician - Healthcare - 3-Month Contract

Location: Berwick, Melbourne VIC
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm
Contract: Initial 3 months, with a strong likelihood of extension and potential to become permanent
Rate: $55–$60 per hour + super, depending on experience
The Opportunity We are currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join a major healthcare facility in Berwick on an initial 3-month temporary contract, with the assignment very likely to be extended beyond the initial 3 months.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician looking for consistent Monday–Friday hours and a role that offers genuine longer-term potential. While the initial requirement is for 3 months, the position is very likely to be extended, with the potential to ultimately transition into a permanent opportunity.
You will be working as part of the facilities and maintenance team, supporting the day-to-day electrical maintenance and operational requirements of a large healthcare environment.
About the Role Working Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 3:00pm, your responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
- Fault finding, repairs and troubleshooting across building services
- Preventative maintenance of electrical assets and infrastructure
- Responding to maintenance requests and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently
- Working closely with the broader facilities and maintenance team
- Managing contractors and service providers where required
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant standards




- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Supporting the safe and reliable operation of a critical healthcare environment

About You To be successful, you will have:

- Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A strong understanding of workplace health and safety
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider maintenance team
- Current or ability to obtain a Police Check
- Current or ability to obtain a Working with Children Check

Previous experience working within a hospital, healthcare, aged care, education or other highly regulated environment will be highly regarded.
